Pitching Workshop

6 week - Pitching Workshop
This workshop is designed for serious creators who are ready to take the next step with their original story ideas—whether for animation, series or feature, short film, or graphic novels—but need guidance refining their pitch. Over the course of six weeks, you'll receive four private 2-hour one-on-one sessions and two 2-hour group meetings focused on shaping your project into a professional, compelling pitch that is ready to be taken out into the world.
We’ll dive deep into your story structure, characters, world-building, format, target audience, and message, helping you clarify what makes your story worth telling—and how to communicate that clearly.
By the end, you’ll walk away with a fully realized pitch deck and personalized pitch coaching that will help you confidently present your vision to execs, publishers, or producers—giving your story its strongest fighting chance to move forward.

Application Period Open Aug 8-14
Submission Requirements:
To apply for the workshop, please submit a portfolio of your work along with a brief elevator pitch and logline for your story. Your submission can include artwork and/or writing—visual portfolios outside of your story are a plus, as they help me understand your voice and style. If you're deciding between multiple story ideas, feel free to send them all—I’ll review and help identify which one has the strongest potential to develop in the workshop. Please also include a short note about where you envision this pitch going (graphic novel, series, film, etc.), and a summary of your professional background or relevant education.
Applications will be accepted from August 8–14, with notifications sent out on August 15. Group orientation will be on Wednesday Aug 20th at 2pm PT. Only five participants will be selected for this round, but the workshop will open again in the future for those who don’t get in this time. Since this is the very first session, I’m looking forward to seeing how far it can grow.
